"KINGDOM GO"-The Philippines

Matt 25:40 "The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'

This trip was a huge blessing to me .I still thank God everyday for all the amazing souls I got to meet and serve.I am forever indebted to everyone that participated in prayers or in contribution to get me to the Philippines, through the samaritansfeet.org.

It was hot and the walk was long ,but we enjoyed every bit of it.

God remains forever faithful.

Dear soul of mine,notice the stark evidence of a spirit that is tainted and a heart that must be placed under the microscope of God’s Word. Yes, indeed, unsettle me, Lord. Unearth that remnant of justification. Shake loose that pull towards compromise. Goodbye to shallow efforts, self-focus, and suspicious fears that I’ll never find victory in this area of my life. I am an unsettled woman who no longer wishes to take part in mere fluff. Welcome deeper love for God and the realization I am made for more than this.Dear Lord ,make me a courageous woman who isn’t afraid to pray this prayer over and over in the days ahead. I pray that you take that bold step to go where He leads. Anybody can go it doesn't matter where you are geographically you too can move. You can go through supporting missioneries/sponsoring a less fortunate child/praying for the ones in the field /giving your time to listen to that person who needs a person to care enough to listen.

Shoes of hope.

This lady was 74 years old and she never owned a new pair of shoe her entire life-ever! well she did after this day.This touched my heart .

None of them have much in the way of material goods. Yet, they love the Lord. They have a great satisfaction with what God has granted them and they are honestly thankful for their conditions. They each praise God for His goodness to them.

I love hosting, leading or participating in mission trips. One thing that is consistent with those on the trip is that they say they are going to be a blessing to others. And, just as consistently, their testimony after the trip is that they received a greater blessing than they could have possibly been to someone else.

Honestly, I derive my satisfaction from knowing my position in Christ, not because of my work for others. I do enjoy serving others the way I do, but I do this out of gratitude for my savior, not because of some great reward that serving others provides me.

Contentment comes from trusting God for what you have now and asking His help so that you can do more in the future with what He has granted.

As I bask here I challenge you to go and serve, as for me I know I will continue to do so.

All glory and honor goes to the Lord God Almighty, without whom none of this would be possible.
